The story behind the name. Why I created the Blissful Cate blog.
Welcome to my blog! In case you're wondering the reason behind the name "Blissful Cate", I thought I'd share some background. When I was dreaming up a blog name, I wanted something that would encompass and reflect my life. I knew I wanted to write about fashion, lifestyle, and travel but didn't want to incorporate a specific theme into my blog title. I didn't want to pigeonhole myself into one category because I feel like I have so much to share.
“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm, and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.”
Ultimately, I asked myself what I truly wanted to share with the world. I realized the answer is quite simple: happiness. We all have our own version of what makes us happy. For some it is pursing a life of travel and adventure. For others, happiness can be as simple as a quiet evening at home reading a good book. In the end, I just want people to pursue what makes them feel happy and complete, a blissful life. With this thought, the Blissful Cate blog was born. My greatest hope is that you get some happiness inspiration reading my words.
